Can we give Suzie a reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving? How about a warm, loving forever home?! Suzie is a 1-year-old, spayed female dog who came into the Chicago Animal Care and Control as a stray on 9/19. If there’s one thing we know about our girl, Suzie, it’s that she likes to zoom. zoom. zoom. Suzie likes to go zoom! She loves to run around the playlots, occasionally grabbing a toy to be her partner in crime as she’s running around like superwoman. Suzie checks in often with the volunteers after a good zoom session to make sure you know she is there. Suzie is a smart cookie, too! She knows “sit” and “paw” and likes good treats. The perfect home for Suzie is a home that will give her regular exercise so that she can burn off some energy and make for the perfect snuggle buddy when you’re both feeling lazy and tired. Are you a jogger? We think Suzie would make a great forever jogging buddy! Not only will she keep you company, she will encourage you and lay on all the smooches after you finish your run for the day. Suzie, like most pups new to a home, would benefit from some basic manners training – she has a tendency to jump up and try to steal the toys. A kid at heart. Due to jumping, a home with small children is likely not a fit. Do you think you can be Suzie’s hero? Adopt her today!
