Several times throughout his career Elvis Costello has gone on tour with a giant wheel and let the fates of the spin decide his set list. Each section of the wheel represents a different era of his career and whatever the needle points at, that’s what the audience gets for the night. He first used it in 1996, brought it back last year and is going to use it again next summer in the UK. The full list of shows, which go on sale in September can be seen below.
