Apparently they won’t be taking eight years between full lengths this time. Fat Wreck Chords posted some rather interesting Swingin’ Utters updates this week. On November 6, 2012 a new Swingin’ Utters 7″ will hit stores; “The Librarians Are Hiding Something” marks Jack Dalrymple’s first song writing credit with the band and also the first recorded appearance of new bassist Miles Peck, which I guess means Spike Slawson is out of the band now. This single is set to act as a precursor to a new full length some time in 2013 and when more details of that emerge we’ll be sure to keep you in the know.
