Riot Fest Puppy Of The Week: Mouse and Tanji
These two dogs came in as owner surrenders from the same household – they’re both on the adoption floor and can be adopted out separately.
Meet Mouse [A155653]! Mouse is an adorable 3-year-old boy who has been at the shelter since 9/27 when he was surrendered with his sister, Tanji. Mouse is such a happy pup even though he’s been sitting in a cage for nearly a month while he recovered from a nasty kennel cough. Mouse sits at the front of his cage, always eager to say hello. Like his sister, Mouse is also part of our doggie playgroup. Upon arrival, Mouse was very thin and his nails were very overgrown, but he’s now put on some pounds and had his nails clips – looking mighty fine if you ask us! Mouse takes treats pretty well and loves to play and then jump up to say hi. Mouse loves being pet and getting all the attention he can get. He is eager to learn and ready for his forever home. If you think our smooshy faced man is the guy for you, come down and meet him today! He is available for adoption at the Chicago Animal Care and Control.
Meet Tanji [A155654]! Tanji is a 3-year-old girl who has been at the shelter since 9/27 when she was surrendered with her brother, Mouse. Tanji is so sweet and has been a part of doggie playgroup. She’s been waiting over a month while she recovered from a nasty cough, but she’s now available for adoption and ready to go to her forever home. Tanji enjoys some playtime followed by pets in a comfy lap. Tanji desperately wants a human in her life as she leans in for petting and will nudge your hand to keep going. Though skinny upon arrival, she has put on some weight and is looking fabulous. Tanji is treat motivated and ready to learn some basic commands – she’s got sit down pretty well already! Think you might be a match for this cutie patootie? She is available for adoption at the Chicago Animal Care and Control. Come down and meet her today!
