There are three unavoidable things in life: Death, taxes, and live videos from cool shows. In honor of the first day of not having to worry about filing your taxes for another 51 weeks or so, the strapping young lads in Twin Peaks dropped some pro-quality live videos from their three-night stand at Chicago’s Thalia Hall, which culminated in New Year’s Eve revelry (on account of the final night of said tripleheader landing on New Year’s Eve).
All three songs—“Blue Coupe,” “ Tossing Tears,” and “In the Meadow”—appear on Twin Peaks’ latest release, Sweet ’17 Singles. The album is a compilation all of the 7-inches that the band released last year, with the help of their pals over at Grand Jury. Also, if you’re feeling kind, the band has some heady new tie-dyed T-shirts for sale in its online store.
