RESTORATION IS UNDERWAY
Douglass Park and the surrounding community mean a great deal to Riot Fest. We’re committed to restoring the impacted areas and seeing the work through. We’ll continue sharing updates here as progress is made.
THE PARK REMAINS OPEN
The festival footprint occupies approximately one-third of Douglass Park, and restoration is concentrated within only specific portions of that footprint. Major recreational amenities, including tennis and basketball courts, children’s playgrounds, synthetic soccer and football fields, and football and track facilities, were not impacted and have remained available for community use.
Crews have been working since September 22, with the current scope of work anticipated to conclude before Thanksgiving, weather and ground conditions permitting.
