HOW TO UPGRADE

Upgrades must be performed by the original purchaser.

To upgrade your ticket(s)…

Log in to your Tixr account
Access your Wallet:
- On web browser: Click your initials in the upper right corner, then select Wallet from the dropdown menu
- On mobile app: Tap Wallet in the bottom menu
Find your event in your Wallet
Look for the Upgrade button on your event card (only visible when upgrades are available)
Select the tickets you want to upgrade
- Review the list of eligible tickets and tap to select the ones you would like to upgrade
- Click See Available Upgrades
Choose your new tickets and complete checkout

Once your purchase is complete, your upgraded tickets will automatically replace your original ones. You’ll see the updated tickets in your Wallet immediately.

**Please note that upgrades are only possible between the same ticket types. ie. 3-day -> 3-day and 1-day -> 1-day. You cannot upgrade a 3-day GA into a 1- or 2-day VIP, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I upgrade my ticket if I bought it at a consignment location?
- You can only upgrade paper consignment tickets onsite during the festival. Upgrades are available at the box office trailer or at any VIP upgrade entrance inside the festival, subject to availability.
Why don’t I see the option to upgrade my ticket?
- You’ll see an Upgrade Available label on your event card in your Wallet when the feature is active. If you don’t see a label or button, upgrades may not be available for the tickets you purchased, or you may need to pay off your payment plan. See below.
Can I upgrade if I’m on a payment plan?
- Orders with active payment plans can’t be upgraded until the plan is paid in full. Once you complete your final payment, check your Wallet again to see if upgrades are available for your event.
What happens to my original tickets after I upgrade?
- Your original tickets are automatically replaced with your new upgraded tickets. You don’t need to do anything, the updated tickets will appear in your Wallet right away.
Can I upgrade just some of my tickets, or do I have to upgrade all of them?
- You can choose which tickets to upgrade. During the upgrade process, you’ll see a list of eligible tickets and can select only the ones you want to move to a better ticket type.
How long do I have to upgrade my tickets?
- Upgrade availability depends on current inventory. If you’re interested in upgrading, check your Wallet regularly, as availability can change.
