Flint, MI’s The Swellers recently passed the decade mark as a band and celebrated in two ways. First up, they decided to throw themselves a show at their hometown’s Flint Local 432 on August 3 with help from Making Friends, Pentimento, Midwest and Vagabond. They also entered the studio to record a new EP which they’re set to self release in the fall. When more details on the EP, which they call “… the most real, stress-free record we’ve ever put out” I’ll make sure to keep you posted. This fall the band will hit the road with Strung Out, dates of which can be seen here.
