According to reports, former Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook is set to release a book about his time in the former band. Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division is set for an October 1 release via Simon & Schuster. About the book, Hook says “I hope this book puts my Joy Division demons to rest. And then I can put my New Order demons to rest. And then I can rest.” Last year New Order re-formed without Hook, who has been playing Joy Division themed shows with his band Peter Hook & The Light around the same time.
