Portland sludge/noise trio Rabbits detailed their sophomore LP this week. Bites Rites is due for release in September via Good to Die Records. The record features covers of Husker Du’s “What’s Going On,” Spacemen 3’s “2:35” and “Meth Valley ’99,” which borrows liberally from Sonic Youth’s “Death Valley ’69.” You can hear “Meth Valley ’99” below along with the cover art, track list and some upcoming Portland shows.
