The 30th anniversary of The Jam’s final LP is coming up and they’re celebrating with a massive reissue project. According to reports, the new version of the record is titled The Gift: 30th Anniversary (‘The Gift and beyond…) and is set to hit stores November 19, 2012 via Universal. On the music side, it’s set to feature the original album in a remastered form, all the era appropriate b-sides, 15 alternate takes/demos, 23 live tracks from the band’s final tour and a DVD with footage from the same tour. On the packaging side, it will include a 72 page book with new interviews, fan memorabilia, a set of post cards and a reproduction of the band’s final tour program along with some other goodies still to be announced.
