The first preview from Sonic Youth’s upcoming archival live LP is now online. The band posted a version of “Intro/Brave Men Run” from Smart Bar – Chicago 1985 to their YouTube channel and you can hear it below. The live set, which was obviously recorded at the Smart Bar in Chicago back in 1985, is set for a November 14 release via the band’s own Goofin’ Records. Though the future of the band is uncertain they have laid out a fairly ambitious vault clearing project and you can see some details on those releases here.
