Public Enemy made it into the R n R Hall of Fame but unfortunately Rush did too

The 2013 inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced yesterday and it’s a mixed bag. On one hand, Public Enemy made it in and that’s great. On the other, Joan Jett, N.W.A. and Kraftwerk did not while Rush made it past the board. Other inductees include Donna Summer, Quincy Jones, Heart, Albert King and Randy Newman. The ceremony is happening April 18, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and it will be aired for some of us to see on HBO on Saturday, May 18.
