Last week, the Foo Fighters treated Chicago with a special performance at The Cubby Bear and were joined by the likes of Riot Fest alumns Jeff Pezzati of Naked Raygun and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. The Foos have just announced they’ll be back in Chicago in August 2015, and this time they’re bringing Jeff and Rick back along with their full bands as support! This iconic show follows the release of Foo Fighters Sonic Highways, a documentary TV series following the band as they create their most recent album – in part telling the story of how Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl was called to music after attending a Naked Raygun show in the 80’s.
