The Rolling Stones announced their new album Blue & Lonesome, will be released December 2 on Polydor.
Their first studio album since 2005’s A Bigger Bang, the 12-song album will feature blues covers from musicians including Howlin’ Wolf and Little Walter.
Ronnie Wood told the BBC, “We didn’t spend any time rehearsing them or anything. We just picked a song that suited Mick’s harmonica or a guitar riff” and “they worked out pretty good. It was like, ‘this is what the Stones do, we play blues.’”
