Marty patiently waits in his cage for someone to come take him outside. He walks nicely on a leash and really enjoys being outside. He kind of knows “sit” and is a little grabby taking treats, but we’re working on that with him. He loves to get back scratches but he can get a little excited when you come down to his level and climbs up on you.
Marty has started to attend dog playgroup. With some dogs he can be face-focused and tries to hump. With others, he enjoys some good chase and space with his play. Depends on the dog, but he seems reasonably social and accepts corrections from other dogs when they aren’t interested in his humping. Waiting for his perfect forever family, came into the shelter on 3/10 as a stray.
