Garnet came to us as a stray on New Years Day. What a sad way to start 2018. She’s looking for a better life and some warmth. Her journey of searching for that continues…. 94 days now.
This little girl glows with gentleness! She’s really sweet and easy going. Garnet doesn’t mind the other dogs passing her while hanging out with us and she LOVES human attention. She leans her whole body in for petting and thinks she’s a lap dog. Garnet’s got quite the happy, waggin’ tail too. She likes to play with toys and balls, which she allows us to take directly from her without any signs of guarding. She’s affectionate and is also gentle with treats. Garnet is really friendly and loving… this girl is a gem. She would likely be fine in a home with people of any age, including children. We just hope she realizes their laps might be too small for her tush.
We’ve had Garnet leash tested and in playgroup with other dogs and what she needs is to coexist with others – no contact – or would love to be a spoiled, only “child.”
