It was love at first sight with Emmitt. He’s shy, but not hard to leash. Emmitt walks next to his handler and looks up at you for reassurance and approval. Off leash, he really didn’t leave his handler’s side. At first, he would tremble, but as he was pet, he became less afraid. He even would give random, sweet kisses. Emmitt has great jowls, but he surprisingly wasn’t slobbery, a dream combo! He showed mild interest in passing dogs, didn’t like my treats, wasn’t into the toys, and allowed for handling all over. Emmitt is tolerant of different energy levels, he has been leash tested with a high octane female and a laid-back male. He will make the perfect snuggle partner for someone that wants an affectionate soulmate. So far in playgroup, Emmitt prefers to co-exist rather than have physical, rough and rowdy play.
