DUNCAN A208255 | MALE | ADULT
Duncan was sprawled across his dog bed when I came to get him out – totally relaxed. When I opened his kennel, he leisurely sat up, let me leash him up and then moseyed on outside. Duncan was very easy to handle and walked nicely on leash. Duncan is a taller guy with really soft fur and a laid back disposition. He spent some time exploring the medical run and some time hanging out with me – letting me dress him up for Halloween. Duncan was pretty attentive to me and would come when I called for his attention – and seemed to enjoy being pet on his chest. He is a good boy and would probably enjoy a home where he can get some fresh air, take leisurely strolls and curl up on the couch with a best friend.
Custard attends playgroup with other dogs. She does best with dogs who coexist and give her a little personal space. Easy partners to start as she gets overwhelmed & will correct.
Duncan attends playgroup with other dogs. In playgroup he is very animated, tries to hump, is pretty tolerant of corrections, lots of bump and run chase.
CUSTARD A207677 | FEMALE | ADULT
Custard has been at the shelter for over 30 days 🙁
Custard is a whole pie kind of girl. She’s no dainty thing but size is all perception, she walks like a feather on the leash (most of the time). She was sitting on her bed waiting for me to leash her up to go outside. She had only been at the shelter a few hours when we met and a little confused. Outside she did a lot of owner searching and pacing the lot. She’s dirty but well feed and outwardly in ok shape. I’d guess she wasn’t roaming the streets for long before being brought in. Custard has other signs she has a family out in the world too. She knows lots of commands like sit, paw, and roll over. She loves to flop and roll in the grass randomly too. Custard allowed handling all over and wasn’t very interested in toys or treats right away. She’s obedient without needing a treat as a reward! We don’t know why Custard ended up with us but it definitely wasn’t her fault. We think she’s a ok and ready to jump into a loving home.
