“Radiophobia” is more than just a middle finger to nuclear doom in general—it’s an actual reflection of singer/guitarist Ty Vaughn’s fear of his hometown nuclear plant growing up. “Growing up in the shadow of a cooling tower shaped my fear of radiation at a very young age,” he shares. “We knew what a meltdown at a reactor would mean at the age of 7.”
“Fuck Harry Truman,” the Oregon trio includes alongside the video. “Fuck the military industrial complex.”
