Hey, something to look forward to! The Smashing Pumpkins have a new record on the way. It’s called CYR, it’s a double album loaded with 20 tracks, and it’ll be out on November 27 on Sumerian Records.
CYR brings founding members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha together again (along with late-era guitarist Jeff Schoeder) after reuniting for 2018’s SHINY AND OH SO BRIGHT VOL. 1 / LP: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN. Corgan is handling production himself this time around; Previously, Rick Rubin was brought in to produce Shiny and Oh So Bright.
The two singles out so far—“Cyr” and “The Colour of Love”—have already received a lot of love (and will no doubt make excellent setlist additions at Riot Fest next year). Check out the artwork and track list below.
