Riot Mike—our festival’s founder and fearless leader—is a diehard Dropkicks fan. This is no secret to anyone at the Riot Fest office, mostly due to the fact that he wears Dropkick Murphys hoodie more than most of you wear deodorant.
With that all said… It’s been quite some time since Dropkick Murphys hit the road, most especially for their incredible St. Patrick’s Day shows. With a Radius Chicago show coming up this Saturday (February 24), we got our boss to sit still for five minutes and list his favorite Dropkicks song from each of their records, all the way to last year’s Turn Up That Dial. Enjoy—and, do be sure to get your tickets if you haven’t yet. This is a tradition worth celebrating at every opportunity possible.
