March 31st is the International Transgender Day of Visibility. It’s a day dedicated to celebrating transgender people, their unyielding joy and tenacity, and raising awareness to the discriminations they face across the world.
Riot Fest would like to draw your attention to our friends at Transfigure Print Co, a LGBTQAI+ and trans-owned and operated screen-printing studio located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
You may or may not already be familiar with their “Protect Trans Kids” or “Protect Trans Folks” shirts.
Since 2017, this small operation of three has set out to provide inclusive garments that support and raise money for individuals who are shaping the LGBTQAI+ community. They screen print all of their apparel in-house, and also offer custom screen printing services. To date, they’ve raised over $60,000 for various LGBTQAI+ related organizations and individuals in need in their local community. That number is only growing.
To learn more about them or if you’re an artist, musician, charity, company, or person who needs high-quality screen printing or apparel, check out Transfigure Print Co, and make sure you follow them on Instagram and TikTok.
