As you probably heard, last weekend’s Cro-Mags/Sick of it All show ended in a melee between former bassist Harley Flanagan and current members of the Cro-Mags. If you haven’t, the full details can be seen here but needless to say Harley ended up with a broken leg and was charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Well, one week later Harley has responded in this article by NewYorkNatives.com. In it, Harley claims to have been invited backstage with a VIP pass and then jumped when he got into the dressing room, making the stabbings and biting self defense. He then goes into fairly graphic detail about his broken leg before wrapping up by talking about the possibility of working with John Joseph somewhere down the road. As this story keeps developing I’ll keep you in the loop.
