Southern Lord has announced plans to reissue the first LP from High on Fire. The newly expanded version of The Art of Self Defense will feature the original album remastered by Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise), the band’s first dem0, 7″ tracks and a 48 page booklet. The Art Of Self Defense was originally released in 2000 and was the band’s first release following the dissolution of Matt Pike’s previous group, stoner metal legends Sleep. There’s no release date set as of right now but when there is I’ll make sure to let everyone know.
