Tankcrimes has announced plans to release the newest LP from long running Dutch straight edge hardcore act Vitamin X. About To Crack was recorded by Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, was mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound and is set to feature cover art from John Dyer Baizley (Baroness). There’s no release date set but the record went to the pressing plant this week so it’d be safe to expect it in late summer/early fall. This is Vitamin X’s first LP since 2008’s Full Scale Assault, which was also recorded with Albini and featured art from Baizley.
