Ever walk around feeling like those skinny jeans are just another name for sausage casings wrapped tightly around your legs? Turns out that muffin top is the least of your problems.
According to Dr. Karen Boyle of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, “squeezing into skinny jeans can cause nerve damage called Miralsha Parasthetica—a disorder that occurs when one of the nerves that runs in the outer part of a thigh gets compressed. And pressure on it causes symptoms of tingling, numbness and pain in the outer part of the thigh.”
This might just finally explain why girls tend to exit bars either stumbling or barefoot. Blame it on the jeans, duh.
