Akimbo is breaking up, plan last show for August

It seems that Seattle, WA noise/punk/metal trio Akimbo will be breaking up this summer. The band’s final show is set for August 11 at The Comet Tavern in Seattle with Brothers of the Sonic Cloth and special guest still to be announced. The Facebook event page for the show can be seen here. The band’s final LP was 2008’s Jersey Shores.
