Rancid are commemorating their 20th anniversary this year with a box set that’s huge even by gigantic box set standards. Essentials collects all of the band’s full length LPs (plus their debut 7″, the acoustic bonus tracks from Let The Dominoes Fall and their 2007 b-sides collection) on 7″ format. The final tally comes out to 46 records and 92 sides of vinyl. You can check out the full details and pre-order it over at the Pirate’s Press website. As for the purchase options, there’s the full collection (limited to 2000 copies in a leather box, check below for the color vinyl breakdown) or individual 7″s (just black vinyl, no word on pressing totals). The white vinyl box version comes with a hand numbered, limited to 500 official Rancid/Louisville Slugger baseball bat while the others will come with a special flexi disc with two cover songs.
