Back in May Government Issue announced plans for an extremely expansive live show archive release project. Now six months later the first batch of 27 shows is available for download/stream on their Bandcamp page, covering the years 1981 to 1985. For shits and giggles I’ve embedded a 1983 show from The Cubby Bear in Chicago, IL which is now the worst of the worst in terms of yuppie Cubs fan bars. GI played a one off reunion show last year and will reunite again next month as part of the Salad Days documentary release party.
