It’s not The Onion, it actually happened. According to reports former Bury Your Dead guitarist Eric Ellis (2004 – 2008) has been sentences to a 20 year bit in federal prison for being a part of the Guardians Gang; he was taken in unde the RICO Act and convicted of the gang’s collective crimes including but not limited to: armed robbery, home invasion, drug trafficking and extortion.
The best part of the story, as Metal Sucks dug up, is that the gang was inspired by the FX show Sons of Anarchy. Yup. Take that as you will.
