Worried you might not have the funds saved up for a festival pass? The Riot Fest Foundation is happy to extend an alternative option to fans: Karma Cash.
Karma Cash allows those who might not otherwise be able to afford a ticket, a chance to earn one 3-day GA pass for Denver or Chicago’s Riot Fest 2016 through volunteer service with a registered 501c3 of their choice.
How Karma Cash works:
- Riot Fest Foundation is allotting 500 tickets to its 2nd annual Karma Cash program. Registration is now underway and those interested can reserve their spot via this link: http://goo.gl/forms/

- Participants that volunteer a minimum of 25 hours with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization will receive a GA 3-day pass to Riot Fest 2016 (space permitting).
- Volunteer hours must be completed between the dates of November 24th and February 1st. If proper documentation is not submitted by February 1st, their spot will be given away to someone on the waiting list.
- To qualify, participants must register for the program HERE.
- Once registered, participants must submit the following documentation to karmacash@riotfestfoundation.
org by February 1st. - Signed letter from supervisor on company letterhead outlining nature of work performed, total # of hours, and start/end dates of volunteer work.
- Contact information for supervisor (full name, position/title, email, phone number).
- Hours sheet signed by supervisor. Karma Cash hours sheets can be found at riotfestfoundation.org/
