Faulkner is a big, strong guy who feels like he still has some growing to do. He has huge paws! He knows sit and takes treats gently. He can be affectionate and likes to lean in for pets and scratches, but he’s not obnoxious about it and doesn’t jump up (which is good for a dog as solid as he is). He does pull a lot on a leash, so he will benefit from an adopter able to work with him on leash and basic manners training to help him grow into a great family pet.
Faulkner has also been a part of the shelter’s off leash playgroup with other dogs. In group, Faulkner is known for his artful dancing and his full contact play style. He’s a pretty funny guy. One minute he’s running around and chasing the other dogs, and the next his full attention is on the human handlers. Faulkner has been in the shelter for quite some time now so he can get pretty worked up inside the building when passing other barriers or cages.
