Whoa, how adorable is Roxy?! She was surrendered to CACC on 2/19 because her owners were moving. Here are their notes on her: They mentioned she regularly saw the vet and has a rabies vaccine. Roxy has had itchy skin in the past. She was purchased off Craigslist originally as an infant. Previous owners mentioned she was good with other dogs and cats are unknown. Roxy lived with a 3-month-old child. She is housebroken. Her previous owners would recommend her to a home with children. They mention she knows “sit” “paw” “speak.” Roxy is crate trained. Her favorite toys are her stuffed animals. She has a higher energy level and would benefit from an active home. Roxy knows English and some Spanish. She was eating Blue Buffalo food. She hides from the sound of fireworks. She loves going for walks, runs, and being outside with her previous owners.
From our experience, Roxy has started to attend dog playgroup where she enjoys rough play. She has a tendency to focus on licking her play partners mouths which can irritate some dogs and she doesn’t always respond to their corrections.
