It all started with a simple tweet in 2013 asking John Stamos to reunite Jesse & The Rippers at Riot Fest.

But, we all know how that ended up.
With no chance of getting John Stamos to perform that year, we had to settle for The Replacements. However, no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t shake Uncle Jesse from our hearts and minds. Cue master butter artist Jim Victor, who was brought in at great expense for the sole purpose of sculpting a bust of our hero using the most delicious medium of them all: Land-O-Lakes butter. It was the most glorious of sights and a proper Band-Aid for our broken hearts.
So when Huffington Post called it “the most important piece of art to result from any 2013 summer festival,” and John Stamos said it was “Pretty frightening,” we knew it would lead to this day.
Which brings us to HAVE MERCY: THE JOHN STAMOS ART SHOW.
A panel of celebrity judges will be evaluating the art, prizes will be awarded, and the walls will be covered with paintings, drawings and sketches in tribute to one of our favorite humans – the stunning, inspiring and legendary actor/musician John Phillip Stamos – it promises to be the greatest art event ever in the history of the world!

Proceeds from the art will benefit Childhelp® which exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. We focus our efforts on advocacy, prevention, treatment and community outreach.
