FIDLAR A171644 • Young Male • Looking for a Foster or Adoptive Home
FIDLAR knows that life’s a risk, and this guy has been fighting to live since we met him. He came into the shelter when a good samaritan found him in an alley, not eating. He was just skin and bones, weighing in at 22 lbs when he arrived at our facility. Up until a few days ago, he was on an IV making sure he was getting the necessary fluids. FIDLAR is now eating on his own and is ready to take the world on, maybe hit the west coast with a new family, no waves ahead. FIDLAR is a super handsome, teeny tiny little guy. He fits comfortably in the lap of a 5’2″ human and is happy to check out and wait for the weekend right there – relaxing and getting all the pets he can get. FIDLAR is super easy to handle, loves treats, takes them gently, will “sit” on command, and showed no signs of food guarding when putting my hand near his bowl while he ate. His teeth had some plaque, but we think he is young. We think the plaque is from his bad habits of having to eat food off the streets and malnutrition. FIDLAR is an awkward little guy, who is too cute to not fall in love at first sight. He went back to his cage with ease. We’re not quite sure if FIDLAR is a punk or just rock n roll, but whatever he is, he’s awesome and deserves a shot. We don’t want our little skinny pal sitting in his cage from 5 to 9, we really want to get him into a comfortable home as quick as possible. If you’d like to foster or adopt FIDLAR, please apply with a rescue group today. Information below.
FIDLAR has not formally been introduced to any other dogs, but was in a room surrounded by cats and had no reaction to them in their cages. We do not have any information on his dog to dog friendliness at this time.
