Prosecutors this week asked Federal Court Judge Kiyo Matsumoto to seize $7.4 million in assets from Martin Shkreli, the potato looking Pharma Bro, who is currently in jail after being recently convicted on two counts of securities fraud.
Among the items they listed as other assets is the Wu-Tang Clan album Once Upon a Time In Shaolin, the only copy of the album which he reportedly purchased for two million dollars in 2015.
“We will vigorously oppose the government motion,” said Shkreli’s lawyer Ben Brafman said to CNNMoney.
Shkreli faces up to 20 years in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 16, 2018.
As Juror No. 144 said during jury selection for Shkreli’s trial, he “kind of looks like a dick.”
