If you’ve been waiting for the rumored Smashing Pumpkins reunion, you can scratch Darcy Wretzky off the reunited lineup.
In a text message, Darcy told Blast Echo, “I only just found about yesterday that the band has decided to go with a different bass player.”
“My apologies to all of the Smashing Pumpkins fans out there who are excited about this oncoming reunion tour of the original members of the band. I know this is a huge disappointment for me, as well, but it’s not going to happen [with me],” she said.
Take this all with a grain of salt, so far the only news outlet to report this is Blast Echo, and there has been no official word from Billy Corgan or any other Smashing Pumpkins member.
