Have A Cup Of Coffee At Sip Of Hope, And Help Save A Life

Have A Cup Of Coffee At Sip Of Hope, And Help Save A Life

May 3, 2018 (October 10, 2018) // Riot Fest

Having a cup of coffee at this Chicago coffee shop could literally save a life.

Sip of Hope, located at 3039 West Fullerton Avenue in Logan Square, is the first coffee shop where 100 percent of the proceeds go to support proactive suicide prevention and mental health education.

Sip For Hope—a partnership with Hope For The Day and Dark Matter coffee—employs a staff that is certified in mental health first aid.

Need a cup of coffee or just someone to talk to? Head on over to Sip of Hope, “the perfect space for breaking the silence around suicide and raising the visibility of mental health resources in our community.”

Can’t make it over? You can head to their website and make a donation.

We get it! Life is hard and some days we need more than a cup of coffee to get us through the day. We need to remind ourselves, that despite the things we’ve been through, it’s ok to feel pain, it’s ok to talk about it. The biggest obstacle to preventing suicide is silence. We as a community can start the conversation about mental health. We are in this together.

Prevention starts with a conversation, and the conversation starts here.
