Ow! My Balls! On Saturday at Busch Stadium, St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina caught a Kris Bryant foul tip of a 102-mph fastball right in the dick and balls.
Directly in the family jewels. Right in the ye olde meat and potatoes. However (or wherever) you put it, Yadier Molina will be sidelined for at least a month, sustaining a traumatic hematoma and going into emergency surgery Saturday evening after “being hit in his groin area by a foul ball in that afternoon’s game at Busch Stadium,” according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
And now some entrepreneurial person is selling the very baseball that hit Molina in the dick and balls.
For $1,250, you can purchase the “Yadier Molina OUCH Baseball from 5/5/18 versus Cubs, that knocked him out of the game, and sent him to the DL. Yadier took this foul ball to his groin, off the bat of Kris Bryant, in the top of the 9th. This was the only foul ball during Bryant’s [at-bat]. This baseball has been authenticated by MLB with their tamper-proof hologram. I hope Yadier gets well soon and wish him a speedy recovery.
