Calzone was found with another dog in an abandoned house. We don’t know how they ended up there or how long they’ve been alone. Both dogs have a face full of scars but not from each other. When I walked Calzone past Fresca’s kennel on the way outside, he instantly recognized her and both were tail wags and trying to kiss through the bars. Outside he was a nice medium energy and stayed close while walking on leash.
Calzone seems to have some seriously itchy skin around his neck. He will use anything he can to get it scratched: the fence, an outlet on the wall, a human. He was very cuddly while using me as a scratching post digging his head anywhere he could and giving hugs once satisfied. Calzone knows sit, takes treats well, and went back inside with ease. Who wants to give this sweet boy the home he deserves?
Calzone met a male and female in Playgroup. He was a little apprehensive at the gate, but curious. He gave out some tail wags and coexisted on leash test. He was not feeling the male dog and also pretty sick so he needs some more information on his dog to dog interactions.
