Riot Fest Adoptable Puppy of the Week: Snoops

CAMP CACC  at Chicago Animal Care and Control is in full effect this weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-6pm. 2741 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60608.

While Snoops enjoys the activities at camp, he has some anxiety while in his bunk. But, despite how he appears, he’s not wild at all, he’s easy to leash and walks like a gentleman outside. When he arrived at camp, Snoops seemed pretty homesick and was looking out the window for his parents. After realizing he was with us at CAMP CACC, he realized he should make the best of it. Snoops loves treats, toys, and attention. Snoops knows sit and paw and takes treats gently. Sometimes he jumps before listening to commands, but he’s tiny and doesn’t get too high or make contact.

One of Snoops favorite activities at camp is playing fetch. The counselors can take the ball from him when he doesn’t feel like dropping it. He’s willing to shake their hand before they toss it again too. He would play fetch all day even in the scorching heat if we let him. Snoops is very affectionate and leans in for pets. He is used to living in a home and not so used to the camp environment here at CACC… he hates returning to his bunk.
