Hot off the heels of White Reaper’s latest single (the instant stadium classic “Real Long Time”), we’ve got the scoop on the group’s upcoming new record. It’s called You Deserve Love, and it’s out October 18. There’s a new single titled “1F” for your listening pleasure as well.
You Deserve Love is White Reaper’s Elektra Records debut, the follow-up to 2017’s most excellent The World’s Best American Band. The title came from bassist Sam Wilkerson, picked from a long list of album names read aloud at a bar. “Everyone stopped me at You Deserve Love,” guitarist/vocalist Tony Esposito notes. “I think it’s cool, because it’s true for everybody. I think it’s what everybody needs to hear.”
White Reaper will embark on a gigantic tour to support the release, kicking things off in the U.S. at this year’s Riot Fest on September 15. You can pre-order the record now, (with a sweet selection of colored wax and shirts at your disposal) and view the track list below.
