Trans Day of Visibility is a day to celebrate the achievements of trans people everywhere, and to raise awareness for the growing injustices that they face every day. 2022 has, unfortunately, seen a huge wave of anti-LGBTQ legislation make waves across the country. Among them all, Texas has enacted a horrifying amount of disruptions for teens, their families, and gender-affirming healthcare providers across the state. We’ve picked Equality Texas Foundation for this fundraiser in response.

The Equality Texas Foundation works to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans through education, community organizing, and collaboration. Equality Texas Foundation programs are designed to meet individuals where they’re at in their advocacy journey, providing the issue education and skill-building training necessary to confidently exercise activists’ individual and collective power to advance LGBTQ+ rights and fight anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in Texas.
