Because the only thing you love as much as live music is your baseball team… oh, and your kids, we’re offering a free baseball camp this summer for kids under 14 with the Chicago White Sox! Camp attendees will be split into three groups based on age, with each session capped at 100 participants.
Each attendee will receive a White Sox Camp gift bag, which you can find out more about below!
White Sox Camp Details
Kids aged 5-13 are invited to Douglass Park’s main field on August 20 for a 90-minute camp with the Chicago White Sox coaches. Boys and girls local to North Lawndale and Little Village residents are encouraged to apply!
We’re having three sessions (broken into three age groups) slated to kick off at the times below for each age group:
- Session 1: 10 AM – 11:30 AM
- Session 2: 12 PM – 1:30 PM
- Session 3: 2 PM – 3:30 PM

Along with the training session, participants will get an exclusive White Sox gift bag! This includes a kids’ drawstring bag, a Chicago White Sox flag, a player magnet, a Tim Anderson chain and a pack of Topps baseball cards. Then for the parents, we’ve also got parking figured out. There’s spaces available on Farrar Drive and Sacramento Drive.
There’s no cost to register or attend, but don’t wait to sign up because the camp is capped and will fill up quickly. Each session will be capped at 100 kids.
