We’re almost a week away from Riot Fest, and you know what that means… It’s time to download the Riot Fest app. And, we’re making it worth your while with updates for 2023.
We’ve got a brand new GPS-enabled festival map for you to check out with even more restaurants and nearby food to explore. Then, after the festival, when you’re trying to get to an after show, we have all the late night venues loaded onto the map for you.
Basically, everything you need will be on your phone. Want to see the schedule? It’s in the app, with a tab to easily download the graphics. Stuck in a port-a-potty line and need something to do? Mindlessly scroll on Riot Fest TV for music videos, classic commercials and more (hint: it’s also in the app)!
Just be sure to turn on notifications for important updates and reminders throughout the weekend. But mostly, because we want to annoy you more than you annoy us (if that’s even possible). Check out some of the features below, and grab the app on iOS and Android devices starting today!

Need help getting to an aftershow? The festival map is here to help. Every one of our Late Night shows is laid out on the map, ready for you to plan your exit from the festival—and your arrival to some of Chicago’s best local venues—just in time for doors. (You can make it! We swear!)

We’ve got 10 channels for you to scroll through. This includes Riot Fest 2023 artist music videos, live shows by some of our favorite artists, cartoons, old TV shows, classic commercials, movie clips (including a feature-length Shrek re-told fan-created masterpiece), local Chicago band music videos, Riot Fest TikToks, music videos for artists with upcoming shows with Riot Fest Presents and, of course, some really weird shit.
Music Videos.
Calling back to the original MTV era, we’ve queued up hundreds, maybe even thousands of music videos on RFTV. This includes visuals from musicians on the Riot Fest lineup, Chicago-based artists, bands playing upcoming shows and more. Check out music videos from Queens of the Stone Age, Death Cab For Cutie, The Gaslight Anthem, AFI, Turnstile and many others.
Classic Commercials.
Commercials just aren’t what they used to be (smh). But, lucky for you, we’ve gathered all of our favorite nostalgic ads for RFTV. This includes the 90s Cocoa Puffs cereal factories video, the bubble tape commercial, Crest’s classic ‘sparkle mania’ ad and more.
Random Shit.
Of course, RFTV wouldn’t be complete without some random shit. Riot Fest TikToks, funky cartoons and just about every strange video we’ve enjoyed on the internet recently are loaded on RFTV.
