LOCAL HIRING OPPORTUNITIES
Annually, we hire temporary staff from North Lawndale and Little Village for Riot Fest. This year’s employment dates are:
September 10 – September 25
AVAILABLE POSITIONS INCLUDE:
General labor
Event set-up and tear-down
Gate attendants
Grounds maintenance
Information services
ID and wristband checkers
Sanitation and trash
On-call general staff
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 or older
Able to stand for 8hrs or more
Able to work outdoors in all weather
COMMUNITY TICKET REGISTRATION
Each year, we invite nearby residents to attend Riot Fest free of charge. This year’s festival is:
September 19 – September 21
To be eligible for free admission, you must live within roughly a four-block radius of Douglass Park. This includes areas bordered by:
Arthington Street to the north, Central Park Avenue to the west, 24th Street to the south, and Western Avenue to the east.
WHAT TO BRING:
A valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or CityKey
Two pieces of official mail for proof of address, such as a utility bill, bank statement, insurance card, or pay stub
