National Western Complex is easily accessible via the RTD – Route #48 (44th St & McFarland Dr. stop). The festival grounds are also very near I-70 exit 275. To get directions to the fest based on your location, input your starting point as “Point A” HERE.
Onsite car parking will be available for a fee on a first come, first served basis. And yes, on site bike parking will be available! We will have more information on bike parking a bit closer to the festival dates.
Gates are scheduled to open at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday and the festival will wrap up around midnight on Friday & Saturday and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. Please keep in mind, these times are subject to change.

A 3-Day General Admission ticket will grant entry to the festival grounds Aug. 28-30, 2015, where you can watch performances across any of the stages throughout the park. This is also where the vendors, Lucha Libre wrestling, Carnival rides, and other fun things will be set up for your enjoyment. Re-entry will not be permitted.
If you bought a GA pass, it was either sent to you in the mail or via email as a PDF. If you have a print-at-home PDF ticket, please print it out prior to arrival at the festival. We will not be able to print tickets onsite. We can, however, scan the ticket from a cellphone if needed.

Riot Fest has a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options for you to eat. For those attending with special dietary needs, you may bring your own food. Please talk to the security personnel at the entrance and they will guide you over to our medical tent for storage and safe keeping. Make sure to bring a copy of a note from your doctor.
Those with disabilities are welcome to attend. We will have limited parking reserved for those with handicapped parking permits, and those with disabilities should be transported to and dropped off at the main gates. Attendees with disabilities should bring a note from their doctor to present to security and inform them of their needs at the gates upon entry, they will assist you in accessing the festival. We will not have seating available, so those with trouble walking or standing should use an all-terrain wheelchair and/or attend with someone who can help them navigate the vast festival grounds. Onsite, there are some paved pathways to use, ADA accessible toilets will be provided in all parts of the venue and ADA accessible ramps will be placed next to the Front of House structure at a couple of the main stages. If you have further questions after arriving at the festival, head over to the Information Tent on the grounds, and they will be able to assist.
Prescription medications are allowed only in the original prescription bottle, any persons attempting to bring in prescription medication must have a government-issued photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription. Further, if a patron has mixed multiple pills in a single prescription container or if a person is attempting to enter with prescription pills in a non-prescription container, medical representatives should be involved to make the final determination about whether or not such pills are to be allowed in the venue.
Yes, of course you can. If you have pre-existing medical conditions that need medication, special diets or extra awareness, please talk to the security personnel at the entrance. They’ll take you to the first aid tent and make sure your medications or other needs are taken care of or stored should they need refrigeration. Make sure to bring a doctor’s note and photo ID.
Hell yes it is. Riot Fest is all ages. Exposing kids to awesome music is super important.
Children under 5 years-old will be admitted (with a ticket holding adult) for free.
As a courtesy to nearby community members, re-entry is not permitted for GA passholders. A multi-day GA pass will allow you to enter the grounds once each day listed on the ticket.
There will not live animals, however, there may be staff of National Western Complex riding horses to get around the venue, but Riot Fest will NOT have any live animal attractions or circus animals or animal rides.

Camping is not allowed in/near the festival grounds and we will not be able to accommodate RV parking or overnight stay. We have information on hotel rooms available on our HOTELS page.

No, the carnival rides will operate on a pay per ride basis, however, there are all-you-can-ride weekend passes for the carnival available HERE.
