Last night during their show in Mountain View, CA Slayer performed a cover of the Exodus fan favorite “Strike of the Beast.” You can see video of the song embedded below. For the last 18 months Exodus guitarist Gary Holt has been filling in for Slayer’s Jeff Hanneman while he recovers from necrotising fasciitis, the flesh eating disease he got from a spider bite. This was the first time Slayer played the song.
