Trying to prove that she does not have a gag reflex, the Atlanta woman decided to swallow a knife to prove her point. While you’re shaking your head because no sane person would attempt this… the woman proceeded to laugh. That laugh caused her to swallow the knife where it pierced her esophagus. She was taken to the hospital. Upon further investigation, turns out that this is her second time swallowing a knife.
In case you were wondering, yes, she was admitted to the inpatient psychiatric unit.
